Gallery pattern
Drift Canvas
An endless tabletop of prints to drag through, with the brand inverting over everything it crosses.
This is the real effect, not a video. Scroll, drag and click inside it.
The Drift Canvas spreads framed prints across a surface that repeats forever in every direction, like a gallery table with no edges. The visitor drags or scrolls to slide the whole field under a fixed wordmark, which inverts its colour over every print that passes beneath it, and left alone the canvas keeps drifting gently on its own.
When to use it
Built as an art print shop, it fits any brand selling visual variety: print stores, illustrators, poster labels, zines, photographers selling editions. Because the field wraps, twelve to twenty images feel like an endless collection, which flatters a young catalogue.
Why it works
The wrap removes the two worst moments of a gallery, the start and the end. There is no first image carrying all the pressure and no last image telling the visitor to leave. And the inverting wordmark keeps the brand present in every single frame of the experience without ever covering the work, which is a trick a static header cannot do.
