Testimonials pattern
Typewriter Testimonial
One quote typing itself out, letter by letter, centre stage.
This is the real effect, not a video. Scroll, drag and click inside it.
The Typewriter Testimonial gives the whole stage to a single quote and types it out character by character, cursor blinking, before the client's name settles in beneath. A slim progress bar fills as the words appear, then the next voice takes over.
When to use it
Reach for this pattern when one sentence of praise is strong enough to carry a section: a named CEO, a transformation story, a number worth bragging about. It fits premium one page sites and portfolios where restraint is part of the brand.
Why it works
Typing is impossible to skim. The animation meters out the sentence at reading speed, so visitors absorb every word instead of glancing past a paragraph. It also borrows the intimacy of watching someone write, which makes the endorsement feel spoken rather than printed. Fewer words, fully read, beat many words ignored.
