Curved Path Gallery

Framed photographs travelling a single silk ribbon of a curve.

This is the real effect, not a video. Scroll, drag and click inside it.

The Curved Path Gallery lays one flowing curve across the page and sends framed photographs travelling along it. Scrolling or dragging slides the whole procession down the ribbon, each frame tilting with the bend and swelling gently through the middle of its journey, and when the visitor rests, the line keeps drifting on its own.

When to use it

It was built here as a wedding house, and that is its natural home: photographers, planners and venues whose albums deserve better than a grid. It also flatters any brand with a story told in sequence, a menu tasting, a property walkthrough, a season of work, since the curve turns browsing into a small journey.

Why it works

A straight carousel shows pictures; a curve gives them a route. The eye follows the ribbon the way it follows a road in a landscape painting, so every frame is seen in order rather than skimmed. Motion tied to the visitor's own scroll makes the page feel handheld instead of automated, and the idle drift means the gallery never sits still even for a visitor who never touches it.
