The Cursor Image Trail turns the pointer into a flavour tour. Each time the cursor travels a hand's width, the next photograph is born at that exact spot, swells to full size with a tilt borrowed from the pointer's own speed, then sinks and dissolves. The page underneath stays a simple, confident headline, the trail is the decoration and the menu at once.
When to use it
Made here for an ice cream cafe, it suits playful appetite brands: gelato, bakeries, bubble tea, florists, fashion drops. It belongs on a landing or about page where mood matters more than information density, and it needs six to twelve photographs that look good at a glance.
Why it works
It recruits the visitor's own hand. Nobody moves a cursor in a straight line once they notice pictures following it, and that thirty seconds of play is thirty seconds of looking at product photography, willingly. The images also never block the message, because they melt away on a timer, the headline always wins the end state.
