Fourteen pieces cut for warm weather and long days. The runway walks past one look at a time, and everything on stage can be taken home from the rail beside it.
This page is a runway you scroll instead of watch. One look stands centre stage in full colour while the looks that already walked trail off to the left, smaller and greyer the further back they go, exactly the way a show lives in your memory. Each scroll steps the line forward by one: the next model walks in from the right, the current one joins the queue behind, and the look counter keeps the running order.
The real trick is the rail. The shirt and trousers being worn on stage are always waiting on the right with their names and prices, and they change the moment the look does. It closes the distance between the show and the shop to nothing, which is the whole promise of a lookbook: see it walk, then take it home.
The typography stays out of the way on purpose. One clean grotesque does every job at different sizes and spacings, from the wide tracked wordmark to the big light look number, so the clothes carry all the colour on the page. The palette is a single cool grey blue with a white rail, which keeps every look reading true.
NOVARE is a fictional menswear brand created by BrillianceTech in Singapore to demonstrate this design. If you want your collection to walk like this, this page is the brief.
