$185 Bergamot over warm amber, the smell of a morning that is in no hurry. First Light opens bright and settles into something golden, worn closest in the first half of the day. Fifty millilitres, eau de parfum, blended and bottled in small batches.

$170 Rose, suede and a whisper of pink pepper. Silk Hour is quiet on the skin and closer than it first appears, the fragrance equivalent of something cashmere. The marble stopper is cut by hand, so no two bottles close quite the same way.

$195 Cut like a gemstone and scented like a forest floor after rain. Vert Profond layers vetiver, crushed leaf and wet stone into something deep and green, a fragrance for people who would rather be outside. Wears longest of the whole collection.

$160 Clean white musk warmed through with sandalwood and a trace of toasted oak. White Oak is the collection's everyday, the one that smells like laundered linen and calm rooms. The cap is turned from a single piece of pale oak.

$210 Violet, incense and black plum in a bottle the colour of last light. Nocturne is the evening fragrance of the house, made for dinners that run long and rooms with candles. A little is enough, and it stays until morning.
